Artist Steen, Lee
Object Name Assemblage
Description Figure made from a tree branch with bark removed. The Y shaped branch is turned upside down, the two extensions creating legs and the stem creating the head of the figure. The figure has no arms. The head is appears to be sticking its tongue out at the viewer, and has extremely droopy eye lids which are seperate scraps of woood attached with nails. The actual eyes are comprised of rusty "Cream Soda" bottle caps. These rusty "Cream Soda" bottle caps also create a belt and buttons down the torso of the figure. There are additional nails stuck into the figure at random, seemingly for no structural purpose. Traces of a peach paint remain on the face, with red on the tongue and for the hair at the top of the head. Also, a light blue paint is barely left on spots throughout the torso and legs.
