Artist Steen, Lee
Object Name Assemblage
Description Wooden figure stripped of all bark. The wood forms an upside down "Y", the stem creating the head and torso, and the extensions creating the legs. The form has two attached wooden arms, and two attached wooden ears in the shape of small "C"s near the front of the face. The figure has a tin hat, dark brown metal eyebrows attached, white and black rusted metal eyes attached, a natural notch nose from the wood, and attached redish burnt sienna metal lips. The face is still noticeably peach colored from paint. Just below the face are a tin tab, and a rusted soda cap with an "R" on it in cursive lettering. Between the arms in the chest area is a natural hole in the wood.
