Description |
Wooden figure mostly stripped of all bark except in the facial region. Figure has two legs, one natural branch arm and one arm attached with a nail. It has a large metal hat, and a cloth belt with a metal circular belt buckle. The facial region is mottled with remaining bark, as well as stained from the remaining peach colored paint. The eyebrows are pieces of wood nailed on, painted black. The eyes are also black, pieces of metal, possibly washers, with white centers. The lips are formed from two pieces of wood nailed onto the face, painted a redish- burnt sienna color. A black mustache is attached above. Ears made of wood are attached to either side of the face, as the nose is attached to the front of the face. |
