Description |
Figure made from wood stripped of bark. The wood is in the shape of an upside down Y, the extensions creating the legs, and the stem creating the torso and head area. There is a very small curved piece of wood attached for a left arm. Rusted metal is attached with nails to create eyes, ears and a mouth, while a small piece of rope is attached above the mouth to create a moustache. The nose is expressed by a knot in the wood of the figure. Traces of aqua blue paint remain on the torso and leg portions of the body, while redish burnt siena remains on the upper torso part of the body. |
